We store energy in batteries for later use and, in winter, use only 100% Dutch green electricity from certified suppliers.

Costs and Budget
How much does a BC1® production cost?
Costs depend on the length, production style, number of interviews, locations, and languages. We always provide transparent, customized quotations.
Can costs exceed the estimate?
No surprises. The agreed quotation includes all work. Costs only change if new requests are added after approval.
Does BC1® offer smaller or fixed packages?
We’re honest, for quick social media clips, you can often do it yourself. But for a high-quality, story-driven production, we’re happy to explore what’s possible within your budget, even for freelancers and small organizations.
Are multilingual subtitles included?
Yes. Subtitles in English, German, French, Spanish, and Dutch are included by default. Subtitling in other languages is possible and will be included in the quotation

How long does a production take?
Each project is unique. Some can be completed within a week, while most take 2–4 weeks depending on complexity. Documentaries usually take 3–6 months.
What if I have a tight deadline?
Contact us, we’ll explore what’s possible. Not every production requires a lot of time; we always tailor the process to fit your schedule.
How does BC1® ensure a smooth process?
We start with a detailed briefing, communicate clearly throughout, and provide a secure preview link for feedback before publication. Revisions are handled promptly.
Can I stay involved during production?
Yes, absolutely. You’ll review the concept and tone in advance and approve the edit before release, so you always have control over the result.

We discuss these at the start to ensure a clear plan and a smooth production process.
Publication and Distribution
Where will my film be published?
Your production appears on bc1.nl, and if applicable, via our newsletter and social media channels.
Is publication on bc1.nl required?
No. If you prefer a production without publication on BC1®, we’ll refer you to our partner VPromotions, which offers standalone video production with the same quality and service.
How is the distribution strategy determined?
Together we define your target audience and channels, ensuring your film reaches the right viewers, via BC1®, your own media, or both.
International Use
Can the film be used internationally?
Yes. BC1® films are delivered with subtitles in five languages (Dutch, English, French, German, and Spanish), ready for international release.
Privacy and Rights
Who owns the rights to the film?
You retain the usage rights for your own communication. BC1® keeps the right to feature the film on its platform and media partners, unless otherwise agreed.
How does BC1® handle privacy?
We fully comply with GDPR regulations and always obtain consent when filming people or private locations.
How long will my film stay online?
Publications on BC1® remain online permanently, unless agreed otherwise.
